When we lived in the area, the Front Porch Cafe was a regular Sunday stop. We've always loved it. The owners are super friendly, the food is simple and delicious, the decor is welcoming. So, it was so nice to return after a long break today. We had great weather, so we sat on the porch for brunch. They serve Mocha Joe's coffee - excellent. The price of brunch also includes a mimosa. The buffet has the basics, all fresh and wonderfully prepared. It's seriously a reason to move back to the area.
Just passing through this weekend and happened upon the Front Porch Cafe in Putney, VT. What a gem! We sat at a corner table and enjoyed a great meal (eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, fresh fruit and coffee) while listening to folk music and watching the tropical fish swim lazily in the aquarium. The decor is delightful and fun to look at. Owner was friendly and helpful. We had a marvelous time and can't wait to come back! So relaxing!
